IN THE WIND P40 ROCKY MOUNTAIN ATV/MC RETURNS AS LORETTA LYNN'S TITLE SPONSOR M X Sports, producer of the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL, has an- nounced an extended multi-year contract renewal with Rocky Mountain ATV/MC as the event title sponsor. "As our company continues to expand, it only makes sense for us to continue sponsoring the biggest amateur race there is," said Rocky Moun- tain ATV/MC COO Ray Butts. "From our Race Gas gift card program to free overnight shipping at the national, we are dedicated to bringing the best service possible to this elite race." "We couldn't be more excited to continue our relationship with Rocky Mountain ATV/MC," said MX Sports Director Tim Cotter. "Over the past three years, Rocky Mountain has put hundreds of thousands of dollars back into the pockets of our racers and families through their Race Gas pro- gram. It is because of Rocky Mountain ATV/MC and our sponsors' commitment that we have been able to raise the bar at this prestigious event. This includes more medical personnel, staffing, facility improvements and enhanced RacerTV program- ming, bringing the event to mobile phones, com- puters and televisions all over the world." The 36th Annual Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship pre- sented by AMSOIL will take place July 31 through August 5, 2017 at the Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hur- ricane Mills, Tennessee. CN HAHN OFF TO AUSTRALIA W il Hahn will compete in the entire six-round 2016 Australian Supercross Champi- onship, which gets underway in Jimboomba in Queensland, Sep- tember 17. He recently signed with the National Pump Monster Energy Kawasaki Team and will compete in the MX1 class. "I'm excited to compete at new venues and another part of the world," Hahn said. "I've been over to a few places in Australia before and I'm really looking forward to combining my career with the travel and experi- ence of a new country. "I jumped at the opportu- nity to ride with National Pump Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team when Troy [Carroll] gave me a call, and honestly, I'm just thankful to have this chance of racing in the full series with the support of Kawasaki. It's a really cool deal. "To be starting the series at Jimboomba and then be part of it all the way through to the AUS-X Open, it's special for me. There will be American guys on the line with me, as well as the top Australians, so the level of racing will be really high. "I will do most of my prepara- tion here in the U.S., probably until the first week of Septem- ber, and then I will head over to Australia and stay there the whole time. That allows me to combine my base settings with the great KX450F of the National Pump Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team." Hahn has not raced since suffering injuries at the Atlanta Supercross on March 27. CN Wil Hahn will campaign the entire Australian Supercross Championship.
