The American fans are fantastic and deserve to have this unique event in their country and to be able to support their powerful U.S. Team.' Bud Feldkamp, President of Glen Helen Raceway stated: "Myself and the entire Glen Helen staff are extremely excited to host the 2017 Monster Energy Motocross of Nations. CN INDIAN OFFICIALLY UNVEILS SCOUT FTR750 I ndian Motorcycle has officially unveiled the FTR750 flat track weapon Jared Mees will race in next year's Grand National Championship at the 76th Annual Sturgis Rally in South Dakota. Released to the public at the Motorcycles Are Art industry event, Indian had special guests on hand including the two surviving members of the legendary Indian Wrecking Crew, Bobby Hill and Bill Tuman, both of whom are AMA Hall of Fame members. The third member of the Wrecking Crew, Ernie Beckman, passed away in 1999. "A heritage of racing and winning is in the life- blood of this brand, and everyone in attendance was clearly proud to be a part of this important moment in the historic return of Indian Motorcycle to professional flat track racing," said President of Motorcycles, Steve Menneto. "We have an incred- ible team of engineers and designers working on this initiative, and all of us are deeply committed to building a world-class racing program that will live up to our legendary history on the track." The Scout FTR750 is powered by a custom- built V-twin developed in house with engine part- ners, Polaris Swissauto in Burgdorf, Switzerland and uses a tubular steel chassis and carbon fiber bodywork. CN This bike will have many, many eyes on its performances next year. But they've got possibly the best flat track rider in the world steering it in Jared Mees.
