About the bike:
Big things can come from small packages. Everyone knows how fun the Yamaha®
YSR-50s were to ride. They handled just like their big brothers and, with a little work,
were serious racing fun. Such is the case with the Smokin' Joe's 1989 YSR-50/ CR-80
little rocket. A freshly rebuilt Honda® CR-80 liquid-cooled, 2-Stroke engine was
custom graphed to the YSR-50 chassis. The swingarm was extended two inches to
handle the increased power and, since the power plant was from a Honda®, a cool
Honda® race team paint scheme was needed to finish the project.
