The 18-rider, 25-lap main event was led into turn two by
Wiebler's Harley-Davidson/427RACING's Sammy Halbert.
Halbert was flanked by Mees on the inside and Zanotti
Racing/Harley-Davidson Motor Company's Jake Johnson
on the outside.
"I actually got the holeshot, but when we went into the
corner Sammy had such a good drive he was able to
swing around," said Mees. "I hounded him for a few laps.
