IN THE WIND P36 TONGLET'S SUZUKI SLAYS THE HARLEYS AT SONOMA NHRA N itro Fish Suzuki's LE Ton- glet won his first NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle event in five years at the Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals, July 30-31, and he did it the hard way by beating both of the dominant Screamin' Eagle Harley-David- son V-Rods. Tonglet, who won the Mello Yello Championship as a rookie, claimed his first win since the 2011 Brainerd round when he defeated reigning champ Andrew Hines in the fi- nal. A round earlier, Tonglet also topped Hines' teammate, Eddie Krawiec. "Anytime you can beat one of those Harleys, you've done something, but to beat both of them in the last two rounds, that just doesn't happen very often," Tonglet said. "It's been five years since we last won a race and I'm just really happy to get another win for this Nitro Fish team." Tonglet manages to race in all 16 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle events but during the week, he is a firefighter in his home- town of Metaire, Louisiana. His father, Gary, and older brother, GT, also work full-time jobs. "People have to remember that we all work 40 hours plus at home," Tonglet said. "For a while, the racing was getting to the point where it wasn't fun
