MOTOCROSS FIM MOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 13 / JULY 24, 2016 LOKET MX / LOKET, CZECH REPUBLIC P66 F ollowing a four-week break in the calendar, the FIM Motocross World Cham- pionship roared back to life in the hills of Loket at the MXGP of the Czech Republic. All eyes were on current championship leader Tim Gajser of the Honda Gariboldi team and the defend- ing champion Romain Febvre who was making his return to the series after suffering a head injury at the MXGP of Great Brit- ain. Sitting out two rounds has left the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing star at a signifi- cant disadvantage in the cham- pionship while Gajser came into round 13 of the series with a near 100-point lead, but Febvre nonetheless hoped to make a strong return at Loket. But the Czech GP saw a first- time winner; Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Max Nagl stole the show with a per- fect 1-1 sweep ahead of Gajser and Febvre, who carded 2-2 and 3-3 scores, respectively.
