"It was better," Osborne said.
"I got a really good start from
that outside gate. Maybe I need
to start wide more often. It was
kind of a miracle. I was nervous
going into that first turn. I knew
those guys were on the inside
and it was going to be tight down
there [in the first turn]."
Behind Osborne came Cian-
ciarulo, who shoved his way by
Osborne in the first few turns for
third.
This time, though, instead of
pulling away to a lead out front,
Alex crashed in the corner at
the end of the second section
of sand whoops, which momen-
tarily held up Jeremy as well,
handing the lead to Cianciarulo,
just in front of Jeremy. Alex
remounted at the tail end of the
track was, and then I just had a
little tipover there."
And that's how they'd finish:
Webb took the moto win—his
fifth in the previous six motos—
over Jeremy, Alex, Joey Savatgy,
and a fourth Star Racing Yamaha
rider Aaron Plessinger.
In moto two, it was, once
again, Alex with the holeshot,
again just in front of Jeremy and
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna's
Zach Osborne, who scored a
DNF in moto one after a me-
chanical problem with his rear
wheel that he blamed on him-
self. He had a poor gate pick
