Tomac fell. Tomac still finished
third in front of Pourcel, Barcia,
Canard in sixth again, and the
rest of the field.
"Off the start, I came off to the
right, and me and Trey hooked
and I almost went down," Roc-
zen said. "I think I stomped my
leg into the ground and it bent
my shifter back, so I mis-shifted
many times because it was up
and in, so it was really close to
the footpeg."
Roczen took the overall win
with a 1-1 score over Musquin,
who scored his first second-
overall of his 450cc MX career,
and then Tomac.
"[The start and opening lap]
can be the whole race some-
times," Tomac said. "I know Roc-
zen was right there off the start,
and he was able to do it [move
through the pack quickly] and I
wasn't able to do it, so it showed
that he was on his A game today,
and I wasn't quite there. It's a
podium, but after last week, you
want more. We're going to try to
be better."
