pulled out to a comfortable lead.
At the same point in the race,
Savatgy had only managed to
move up to 10th.
As has been the case in
recent races, Webb began mak-
ing moves as the laps moved
on. Just past halfway, he went
by McElrath's teammate Mitch
Oldenberg and Savatgy's rookie
teammate (and fastest qualifier)
Austin Forkner, and also got

Webb immediately chased down
teammate Plessinger, and then
set out after another of Savatgy's
teammates, Arnaud Tonus, who
was running second.
When Webb moved into sec-

about nine seconds behind his
teammate Jeremy Martin. Martin
ended up winning the moto—his
third moto victory of the season—
by just 1.3 seconds over Webb.

like I did in 2015," Jeremy Martin

"I didn't get a great start,"
Webb said. "I was probably
around 10th and it just took me
a little bit to make some passes.
The track is kind of hard to pass,
so a really good start helps. I
felt really good. I was able to
catch Jeremy from pretty far
back those last couple laps. I'm
