PRO FLAT TRACK VENUE CHANGE

Racing and Central New
York Raceway Park (CNYRP)
announced that the AMA Pro
Flat Track event scheduled
for Saturday, August 20 has
been moved to Rolling Wheels
Raceway Park in Elbridge, NY.
The decision was made by
CNYRP and AMA Pro Racing
representatives as unforeseen
construction delays might leave
the CNYRP facility not ready to
host the event.
"Our original plan had been
to hold the event at our brand-
new facility. However, since
the beginning, we have been
working on the contingency plan
of hosting the event at Rolling
Wheels Raceway," said CNYRP
President Glenn Donnelly. "We
are excited to still be able to
bring AMA Pro Flat Track back
to Central New York and give the
fans a great show at another top
facility."
CNYRP and AMA Pro Racing
representatives toured Rolling
Wheels Raceway in early June
and deemed the facility as a
suitable backup location for the
AMA Pro Flat Track event. The
venue offers the same synthetic
surface and track size as the
current dirt oval that is under
construction at CNYRP, and an
AMA Pro GNC2 rider from the
region completed a successful
test at Rolling Wheels Raceway
in 2015.
CNYRP says it is looks for-
ward to bringing AMA Pro Flat
Track to the state-of-the-art facil-
ity when construction is com-
plete in 2017. Details on ticket

Track event will be released
shortly. Those looking for ac-
commodations for the event can
