Bart Markel made front-page news for winning the 10-Mile National

when George Roeder fell right in front of Chris Draayer, who also crashed
and had to be taken to the hospital… Ralph White also made the front page for
beating "Mr. Ascot," Sammy Tanner, at the Ascot Half Mile… We began our
long-term test with BSA's Lightning 650.
