The MotoGP world lost one of its
brightest rising stars over the
weekend, when Luis Salom suffered
fatal injuries during practice for the
Catalunya Moto2 race. The Spaniard, a
winner in Moto3 and podium finisher
in Moto2, was 24 years old.
