them, I'll run the company by
myself. And I am.
Are you the only sharehold-
er in MV Agusta, or are there
any others beside the Casti-
glioni family?
No, it's just me, not even the
rest of the family.
So if you're going to focus
on sportbikes, do you regard
it as a mistake for MV to have
invested in the sports touring
market?
No, no, no, the touring market
is perfect for MV, just done
differently. The Turismo Veloce
is an ideal MV, because it's a hy-
persports tourer, a cool-looking
practical sportbike. The Turismo
Veloce is a great bike that sells
very successfully, and as we
continue to invest in our product
range the Turismo Veloce family
of models will expand.
So is it fundamental to MV
Agusta's continued growth
and profitability that you must
keep on developing niche
sport/naked products like
the Rivale, Dragster, Turismo
Veloce, and so on? Is it MV's
business plan to offer small
volumes of individual versions
of each platform, such as the
F3 675, F3 800 and F4?
No, I think we've developed a
very specific model range that
customers evidently appreciate,
and which is completely unique
in the marketplace. So the good
thing is that we've made the in-
vestment in creating these bikes,

racer—there'll
be no new F4 for
the foreseeable
future.
