CN III VOICES L E T T E R S T O T H E E D I T O R "He seems like a nice kid, but my lil' sister has more killer instinct, or race aggression…" Valentino Rossi It's great to see Valentino Rossi giving everyone a lesson on how racing should be. I think after last year's events he is showing the racing world what the old man is capable of! Julio Carrillo Botero Valentino Rossi put on an awe- some performance today. But what moved me was his perfor- mance off the track—Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez shak- ing hands. These guys are fierce competitors but put it all aside when it counted [and] to honor the loss of Luis Salom. Thanks for the show. Gentleman. R.I.P. Luis Salom Jacques Simms Valentino Rossi showed the boys who the real man is! A. J. Jadusingh Rossi was excellent; Lorenzo getting punted was not excel- lent. Jim Clausen Ianonne, Lorenzo: Who's Fault? Kind of Jorge Lorenzo's fault. Andrea Ianonne was clearly inside and ready to pass. There was plenty of room. Jorge didn't check, look or realize, and just swung over like he usually would if no one was there. Not Ianonne's fault alone. Jeff Cabral I am not a Jorge Lorenzo fan, but it is the overtaking rider's responsibility to make a clean pass. The guy just f'ed up. It happens. Eric Miner Lorenzo's back tire was de- stroyed, doubt he would have finished the race anyway the way he was falling back. It's why he slowed so much in the corner, but Ianonne still came in way too hot. Justin Wiles Lorenzo is in the hunt for the ti- tle and trying to salvage points. He's known for how smooth he rides. Iannone consistently crashes and takes people out. I guess the "Maniac" is a perfect nickname and sadly true. From what I've seen, #29 (Iannone) has become a danger. It could get worse. Evan Grosswirth Ryan Dungey Ryan Dungey is a great role model for kids. He seems like a nice kid, but my lil' sister has more killer instinct, or race ag- gression; whatever you call the way Ricky Carmichael would behave when he got passed, or Bob Hannah. Ken Roczen will win the title unless he gets hurt. Then again, what do I know? I'm just some dude. Scott Mcfatridge Austin X Games Flat Track I'm sorry, but watching 750s on a smallish track is like watching paint dry. Eric Kiser Letters to the editor can be sent to voices@cyclenews.com.
