CN III VOICES L E T T E R S T O T H E E D I T O R "Heck, I'm still smiling and it's 12 hours after his win! What else can I say but Go Nicky!" Nicky Hayden And WorldSBK Win Good job, Nicky. Great to see you back on the top of the box. John Villella A great, smart race by Obe Wan Hayden! By watching su- persport practice in the wet on Friday, he figured out that the new pavement had pretty good traction and he decided to go for it. Also, probably didn't hurt that his starting position was under the relatively dryer pavil- ion "roof"—he got a great start! Heck, I'm still smiling and it's 12 hours after his win! What else can I say but Go Nicky! Bob Close Pedrosa Re-Signs With Honda He hasn't won a title in 10 years, why do they think he will now? Surely there are other riders who deserve a spot on the A-team. Mark Kern Why? Why in the hell would he stay with them? He'd be better off going to Suzuki. Stephen Poe Vinales To Yamaha This sucks. Suzuki brought him into MotoGP. Again no loyalty. All about money. They would have built the bike and team around him. Jeremy DeMaa Not a surprise. Loads of talent and a chance to learn from the doctor himself. Prasanth Jalagam Why did I think Dani Pedrosa was going to Yamaha? I think Vinales is a much better fit there, so dandy. Gregg Park CN Project RM-Z Supermoto This [supermoto] is by far the most fun I had while racing. I did it for two years until the engine let go and cost me the championship. Also, its limit- less on what you can run, from 50cc all the way up to the Husky 701. If you haven't tried [Supermoto], it needs to be added to your bucket list. Brad Foster R.I.P. Michael Czysz So sad to see such a visionary and gifted person go so young. I was fortunate enough to be at Laguna when the Moto Czysz C1 prototype bike ran a few hot laps—sounded like nothing I had ever heard and a true work of engineering art. R.I.P. Charles Smith I followed his career and his wonderful machines from afar. John Britten would have been watching on. Jeff Keen The embodiment of innovation, intellect, and courage. This guy broke new ground in everything he did, and he has been taken far too soon. Tuck in tight on that long straight, brake later than comfortable, get off your seat and drag that knee at the apex, and after it's all over for the day, raise a toast to one of our own fellow adrenaline junkies. Live to ride, ride to live. Rest in peace MC. Phil Dixon The greatest people ride motor- cycles! I am blessed to stand in their light. Godspeed, Michael.
