HERE WE GO AGAIN
In the three races prior to Red
Bull KTM's Ryan Dungey's first
opportunity to clinch the 2016
AMA 450SX Championship, he
fought off the constant advances
of RCH Suzuki's Ken Roczen for
nearly those entire 60 laps on
his way to winning all of them.
But in Foxborough—Dungey's
first real shot at clinching the
championship—he didn't quite
have what it took to keep Roc-
zen at bay. And at the penulti-
mate round in East Rutherford,
New Jersey, Roczen again came
away the victor as Dungey was
obviously preoccupied with
finishing off his second-consec-
utive AMA Supercross Champi-
onship.
In Las Vegas, with the title
race over with, the question was
whether Dungey could return to
the form he showed during his
three-race win streak and come
