ROUND 4 / APRIL 24, 2016
JEREZ CIRCUIT / JEREZ, SPAIN
P78
seconds down, and a badly out-
of-sorts Scott Redding (Pramac
Ducati) a distant last.
Alvaro Bautista (Aprilia) was
the only other non-finisher,
crashing out on lap six.
Only Marquez has scored in
every race so far, and his tally of
82 points heads Lorenzo on 65,
then Rossi (58), Pedrosa (40)
and Pol Espargaro (36). CN
Bradl (Aprilia) finally got the bet-
ter of last points-scorer Yonny
Hernandez (Aspar Ducati) by a
10th of a second.
Close behind, Michele Pirro
(again riding injured Petrucci's
Pramac Ducati) stayed a tenth
clear of a late attack from
returned injury victim Jack
Miller (EG-VDS Honda). Miller's
teammate Tito Rabat was four
well all weekend, and Laverty
narrowly beat Hector Barbera
on a similar Avintia bike. Cal
Crutchlow (LCR Honda) had
dropped away by the end for his
first finish of the year, just better
than a second clear of a closing
Bradley Smith (Monster Yamaha)
in 12th.
Loris Baz (Avintia Ducati)
came through for 13th; Stefan
Barbera (8) leads
the best of the
rest. Crutchlow
(35) finally
finished the
race without any
crashes.
