I
s there no end to the surpris-
es that Valentino Rossi can
spring on an adoring MotoGP
world?
This latest—a pole-to-flag win
at the age of 37—once again
silenced those who have been
saying for some years now that
the nine-time World Champion
must surely be getting past it.
It was his 113th career win—
one step closer to Agostini's
record of 122—and his 87th in
the premier class. It came after
his 52nd pole in the class, his
62nd overall. And his first since
Assen last year.

Rossi romped
away to the
victory in Jorge
Lorenzo's and
Marc Marquez's
home grand prix.
Do you think he's
happy about it?
