CLASS WIN FOR ROBERT AT MUDDY PORTUGAL WORLD ENDURO I n only his fourth day of compe- tition in the FIM Enduro World Championship, American Taylor Robert celebrated a class win in Gouveia, Portugal, April 16-17. The super muddy and rocky conditions were an unlikely set- ting for Robert's standout ride, but the Arizona native managed to claim the E2 class win Sun- day, while also carding a pair of fourth-place finishes in the ultra- competitive EnduroGP (overall) class over the weekend at the GP of Portugal. "All in all it's been a really good day for me," said Robert. "I lost some time to Phillips early on but seemed to come good in the middle of the day. I had a good crash in the final extreme test and I was pushing hard to try and get onto the overall [EnduroGP] podium, but luck- ily I didn't lose too much time and managed to get the win in Enduro 2." On both days, the EnduroGP IN THE WIND P30 American rider Taylor Robert claimed his first class win in the Enduro World Championship, and nearly also nabbed his first EnduroGP podium at the GP of Portugal.
