of the championship.
In the first main event of the
evening, Gavin Faith enjoyed a
dominant win over his teammate
Blose, winning by a sizeable gap
and lapping all the way up to sev-
enth place on the slick track.
Faith was ready to repeat his
magic in the second main event,
but after having worked his way
into the lead he crashed in the
rhythm section. Faith's misfor-
tune handed the lead to Lamay,
who carried it to the finish for
his second main event win and
the overall victory. Faith re-
mounted in time to mix it up with
Jacob Hayes and Jace Owen in
a three-way battle for third that
went down to the wire. But the
final podium position went to
Hayes while Faith had to settle
for fifth behind Owen.
In the Western Regional Aren-
across Lites main event, Team
DirtBike Mike KTM rider Bran-
don Marley grabbed the hole-
shot and the early lead. Lesher
quickly moved into second
aboard his DrivenMX/MEPMX
KTM and began to challenge
Marley for the lead. The duo
pressured each other for the top
spot, and eventually Lesher's
persistence paid off. He got
around Marley for the lead and
held it to the finish. Marley then
crashed and fell out of conten-
tion, leaving Carlen Gardner and
Devin Harriman to complete the
Lites podium.
Despite missing out on the
podium for the first time in five
races, fourth-place finisher Cody
VanBuskirk padded his points
lead in the Lites West Champion-
ship by finishing ahead of Ben
Nelko, who was sixth. CN
