P104 CN III PRODUCT REVIEW MOTOOL SLACKER DIGITAL SCALE LIST PRICE: $139.99 http://www.motool.co/ STANDOUT FEATURE: Easy and immediate suspension reading RIDER ANALYSIS: That's one of the best things about the Slacker—you don't need any more than one person. What used to be a three-man job is now one, and it's more accurate than your buddy who can't read a tape measure! The Slacker is supremely simple to use and is an answer to yet another problem riders have been staring in the face for decades. All that's required is to measure the distance between the swingarm pivot and the axle, then find the same measurement above the axle on the number plate and affix the Slacker's hook. Connect the Slacker to the axle via the magnetic piece on the back, and turn it on, get on the bike and bounce it a few times and check the reading. If you're on your own you'll need the remote readout but if you have a buddy around, get them to read the number to give you your static sag and compare it to your manufacturer's specs. Do the same on the front and, job done. You've now got simple, accurate readings that will give you a starting point for better handling suspension. And if you've got a street bike, Motool also has a Slacker kit for that, too. Check out the supplied YouTube video here that further explains what the Slacker is all about. https://www.youtube. com/watch?v=yuENX- qEjDU&feature=youtu.be Correct suspension adjustment is something we all like to think we know about, but the truth is, this is an area most riders could use a little help with. Setting up your sag is the first step to ensuring you have the right numbers for your riding weight, making the bike more predictable during braking and acceleration with a neutral chassis that's stable and responsive. Being off in your sag by even a small amount can seriously affect your bike's handling, turning it from friend to foe at the twist of a spanner nut But thankfully, getting those numbers spot on and keeping your bike on the happy side of life has just become a whole lot easier with the Motool Slacker Digital Sag Scale kit. The Slacker uses a simple digital scale to measure the static sag, which will let you know if you have the correct spring in your fork or shock.
