F
or RCH Suzuki's Ken Roczen,
starts have determined, more than
anything, where he finishes on race
day. In his two wins leading up to To-
ronto, he started in first (Glendale) and
second place (Arlington), and in To-
ronto, he started in third place. He can
win every time he gets a good start.
And in the 250cc class, it wasn't a
particularly good start by any racer that
determined the outcome in Toronto, but
rather the carnage that was left in the
first turn that may have determined the
race win for Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull
KTM's Justin Hill.
Starts are always important, but
rarely have they been as critical as they
were in Toronto.
