CN III VOICES L E T T E R S T O T H E E D I T O R "We can see Hangtown and move just down the road after the MX and watch the Mile." Busy Sacramento Weekend The guy complaining about the Hangtown National and the Sacramento Mile being held on the same day, I do not agree with him. I think it will bring more people to the dirt track from fans of the MX. We have a motorhome full of race fans traveling down from the great Northwest for three days of badass racing. We can see Hangtown and move just down the road after the MX and watch the Mile. Rich Merritt We should've pointed out in the original letter, a complaint from CN reader Rick Naish about the AMA's decision to run the Hangtown National Motocross and the Sacramen- to Mile on the same weekend, wasn't the AMA's decision at all. The AMA has no control over the pro racing schedule. Flat track is now in the hands of the DMG and motocross MX Sports. –Editor Still, Three Wins Out Of Four Isn't Bad Congrats to Cody Webb for his well-deserved victory at the King of the Motos. This gives Cody three wins in four attempts—not three attempts as you stated. He fin- ished a distant fifth to Graham Jarvis and Kyle Redmond at the first King of the Motos in 2012. C. Bike ZX-10R First Test Just stunning. A production-en- gineering masterpiece that truly demonstrates the transfer of rac- ing technology to the street. What a shame that Kawasaki/KRT will not support a MotoAmerica Superbike racing effort with this bike on Sunday and then actually sell a few of these on Monday. Or did I miss that announcement from Team Green? Bob Close No, but Kawasaki is sup- porting some teams that are fielding the new Ninja ZX-10R. —Editor Stewart, Suzuki Woes Suzuki has had more than it's share of problems. Last year, Blake Baggett showed con- sistent patience and finished fourth for his reward. It's got to be hard for these guys to sit back and work their way back up to speed, but it's really the best plan for them in the long run. I'm sure we will see Blake back soon. James Stewart, however, may be facing the most severe injury he's ever had. Blurry vision is downright scary and can be a symptom of a more serious issue. I hope both are well soon. Gregory Eddinger I am not a JS7 [James Stewart] fan but you can tell when a bone is broken but the brain is a totally different story. We do not know how bad his injury is. Let's hope he gets back to his old self. I am sure he pulled out because he did not feel safe on the track. John Peterson Letters to the editor can be sent to voices@cyclenews.com.
