the Sumter was in doubt just a
few weeks ago. Mullins is return-
ing from double wrist injuries and
was getting back up to speed
when he broke his foot. Despite
riding in terrific pain, the former
champ kept in the title hunt with
a strong top-10 ride. He actually
DeLong maintained fifth most
of the day but did manage a
second in test two.

Bach, who specializes in GNCC,
rode well in the S.C. woods and
pulled off a sixth-place finish.
