OFF ROAD KENDA AMA NATIONAL ENDURO SERIES ROUND 1 / FEBRUARY 8, 2016 WEDGEFIELD, SOUTH CAROLINA P58 lowed by FMF/KTM's Charlie Mullins, whose participation in the Sumter was in doubt just a few weeks ago. Mullins is return- ing from double wrist injuries and was getting back up to speed when he broke his foot. Despite riding in terrific pain, the former champ kept in the title hunt with a strong top-10 ride. He actually DeLong maintained fifth most of the day but did manage a second in test two. JCR Honda's Chris Bach gave the Sumter National a try. Bach, who specializes in GNCC, rode well in the S.C. woods and pulled off a sixth-place finish. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna's Josh Strang took seventh, fol- former champ Andrew DeLong. "I felt I rode really good today on my new bike," the Husky rider said. "I was having fun, but I'm not really happy with fifth, although it's the best I've ever done here. I didn't get hurt and it can only go up from here. I'm just looking forward to the next round." Andrew Delong rounded out the top-five overall.
