GRANT BAYLOR OPENS THE 2016 NATIONAL
ENDURO SERIES WITH SUMTER WIN

fending champ won't be defending
his title, saying he doesn't want to
rush his recovery from knee surgery
and, at the same time, wants to con-
centrate solely on the 2016 GNCC
Championship, which doesn't get
going until early March.
Baylor, on the N-Fab AmPro Rac-
ing Yamaha, did have a bit of the
home-field advantage, but has never
really done well in the national. The

Enduro Championship, at

Sumter National in Wedge-
field, South Carolina, with a big win,
knocking off a strong field of riders,
that included former champs Russell
Bobbitt, Andrew DeLong and, Bay-
lor's own brother, Steward.
It was Grant Baylor's third career
victory and the second straight go-
ing back to last year. He finished off
