SUPERCROSS MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS SERIES, AN FIM WORLD ROUND 5 / FEBRUARY 6, 2016 UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX STADIUM / GLENDALE, ARIZONA P36 STORY AND PHOTOGRAPHY BY KIT PALMER I t really was just a matter of time. We all knew than Ken Roczen was capable of win- ning, but when? That was the real question. Turns out, it was five rounds into the series. The RCH/Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John's Suzuki rider finally put everything together—mainly a good start—and nabbed his first win of 2016 and his first since January of 2015 (Anaheim 2). It was also GEICO Honda's first super- cross win in the 250SX (West or East) class since March 21, 2015, when Justin Bogle won the 250SX East Main in Detroit. ROCZEN, CRAIG BREAK
