VOL. 53 ISSUE 4 FEBRUARY 2, 2016 P97 • Ultra light • Excellent ventilation • Break-away visor • Hydration ready • DOT, ECE 22-05 certified • Forehead hotspot could be an issue for some people The GPX 5.5 and 6.5 (shown) are Leatt's first ventures into the helmet business. The 360° Turbines (the little blue circles) are made out of a special rubber-like material whose job it is to absorb both straight and rotational impacts. Its ventilation system is inspired by bicycle helmets to work better at slower, off-road, speeds. You can actually see right through the helmet when looking into the vent grills, just like you can a bicycle helmet. Check out this video from Leatt that gives you a better visual of its features.
