JCR HONDA ANNOUNCES 2016 LINEUP
T
he JCR (Johnny Campbell Racing)
Honda team announced it has re-
signed with long-time factory partner
American Honda, and has also expanded
its lineup for the 2016 season to include
Ricky Brabec, Chris Bach, Trevor Bol-
linger and Benny Breck.
Returning for his third year is GNCC
racer Chris Bach. The XC1 racer will be
running the number 4 plate aboard his
CRF450R in the 2016 GNCC Series.
Also contending the GNCC series is
Trevor Bollinger. In his first year with the
JCR Honda team, the former GNCC
4-Stroke A Lites champion will be con-
testing the XC2 class aboard a Honda
CRF250R.
Out west, Ricky Brabec will be flying the JCR
Honda flag in the AMA National Hare & Hound
Series. Brabec, who already topped the opening
round, will be riding the Honda CRF450X in the
Pro division.
JCR Honda will also field an entry in the
WORCS and AMA District 37 Big 6 GP champion-
ships. Benny Breck will be contesting both aboard
a Honda CRF450R.
"The future of the JCR/Honda program is
strong and our over-20-year partnership with
American Honda continues to grow and develop,"
said Campbell. "I am very pleased with the team
we have assembled for 2016. I have high expecta-

BRASHEAR EARNS MOTORSPORTS HALL OF FAME NOD
T
he Motorsports Hall of Fame of America (MSH-
FA) has announced its class of 2016, and AMA
Dirt Track racer Everett Brashear was announced
as the motorcycle category inductee. Brashear is
among seven racing legends to be honored at the

Annual Induction Ceremony at the Daytona
International Speedway on June 29.
Brashear—already an AMA Motorcycle Hall
of Famer—is one of the top AMA Dirt Track mo-
torcycle racers of all time. He won a total of 15
AMA Nationals between 1952 and 1960. He was
acknowledged by many of his peers as the most
talented racer of his time. Following his successful
race career, Brashear went on to work in the mo-
torcycle industry for companies such as Harley-
Davidson, Triumph, Yamaha and Kawasaki.
Brashear beat out a stacked field of class final-
ists for the coveted MSHFA nomination. Finalists
in the category included fellow flat tracker Randy
Goss, three-time Daytona 200 winner Dick Klam-
foth, two-time World Superbike Champion Fred
Merkel, two-time Baja 1000 winner J.N. Roberts
and 13-time national champion mechanic Bill
Werner.
Brashear will join Richard Childress, Gary
Gabelich, Chip Ganassi, Dave McClelland, Sam
Posey and Bob Sweikert in history as the 28
th
class of the MSHFA. CN
