but Tomac washed out in a turn moments after tak-
ing the white flag, and that was that. Reed cruised
to second place for the second week in a row.
"I made a couple of mistakes and those guys just
ate me up," said Reed of the last couple of laps. "I
was able to still hold them at bay, just protect the
line and keep pushing. I wasn't freaking out, but
there was a push there."
The fall cost Tomac a sure podium. He got up
in fourth after Ken Roczen rode past him, making
it a Dungey, Reed and Roczen A2 podium. It was
Tomac's third straight fourth-place finish and Roc-
zen's first podium of the year.
Rounding out the top five was A1 winner Jason
Anderson on the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna. Bad
starts have been hampering him since his victory at
the opening round.
