IN THE WIND P34 MINI MIGHT FROM COBRA MOTO C obra Moto recently announced two new models to their 2016 line- up, the CX50P3 (designed for Special Limited racers) and the mighty CX50FWE (Factory Works Edition), the company's newest top-tier 50cc Senior race weapon. The CX50FWE is an all-new addition to the company's line (actually a 2016.5 model), and one- ups the company's stalwart CX50SR as the premium race-ready competition bike. "More power. More torque. Less weight. Smaller package. The CX50FWE is better from every angle," said Cobra Moto President Sean Hilbert. "To put it bluntly, the CX50FWE is a game changer." The all-new "Venom Series" power plant prom- ises "Mod class bike power in the Limited class" with bigger torque including better low-end and more overrev. Additonal features of the all-new CX50FWE include a new generation 5Gx Cobra freewheeling clutch, CARD cartridge fork featur- ing "Smart Leg" technology and a CARD three- way adjustable rear shock. The Factory Works Edition also carries ProTaper's new Micro Bars in a unique Cobra Moto bend, and comes with Bel-Ray oils, Dunlop MX52 tires and a ribbed seat. Cobra's beginner bike receives its share of upgrades, as well. The CX50P3 carries full race suspension and light- weight performance components such as disc brakes, billet wheels and the freewheeling 5Gx Cobra Moto clutch. Aimed at the 4-6 Special Limited class, the CX50P3 offers race-ready features in a tamer package for learning racers. For more on the 2016 Cobra Moto lineup, visit www.cobramoto.com.
