Nearly a month had passed since Russell tore his ACL at the International Six Days enduro in Kosice, Slovakia. He went through hell unsuc- cessfully trying to finish his duty to Team USA, came home, and went through two more bouts of torture to win the GNCC and Enduro Championships.
