Spaniard's Repsol Honda? "Definite-
ly not!" Baker laughed. "That would
be like Marc coming and hopping
on an XR750 Harley Davidson and
stepping out on the Indy Mile with
me. For me to hop on a MotoGP
bike would be totally foreign to me.
It would be fun and I would definitely
give it a try, but I wouldn't even be on
the same page as him."
The bikes at the Superprestigio
were, once again, shod with 17-inch
wheels, rather than the U.S. stan-
dard 19-inchers. There were two
reasons for this, Márquez explained.
The first was so that riders could use
one set of wheels for both dirt track
and Supermoto. The second had
more to do with training for MotoGP.
"It's easier to ride the bike with a 19-
inch front wheel, but I don't want an
easy bike when I'm riding dirt track"
Márquez said. "I want to use it to
train for MotoGP, so I need the bike
to be difficult to ride."
"Man, it kind of sucks that
Jared and myself have to help
each other out to be able to
win this thing," Baker said
