Kyle Redmond. The hard en-
duro specialist was a last-minute
entry (at the coaxing of his
friend Ramirez), and came down
expecting a far more technical
course. "The race was really
good," said Redmond. "I'm on va-
cation right now and I just wanted
to come have fun in Mexico. I
rode my extreme enduro bike,
but the courses were a lot faster
than I expected. I still had a lot of
fun. I really liked the grass track;
it was fun railing berms and ruts
and I'm pumped I got third."
Redmond bested Noah Kep-
ple by 1.5 second for the final
podium position while Eric Yorba
rounded out the top-five.
Samuel Montalvan topped the
Open class and also got into the
top-10 with eighth overall. Cory
Pincock won the Vet division and
carded 14
th
overall. Kelly Gel-

Other notable finishers included
Larry Roeseler, who is another
regular at the Los Ancianos
Tecate events. Roeseler carded
a second-place finish in the
Super Senior class behind Mike
Baker. Jim Beauchamp took the
win in the Masters class while
Mandie Fonteyn backed up her
2014 victory with another tri-
umph in the Women's class.
