he rousing reception given to
the Husqvarna 401 Vitpilen,
a machine set to come to dealer
floors for the 2017 model line
up, will have a little brother in the
125 Vitpilen.
The 125 will use a similar
chassis and bodywork structure,
but instead will be powered by
the KTM 125 Duke engine, just
as the Vitpilen 401 will sport a
KTM 390 Duke engine.
The Vitpilen range was one of
the stars of the recent EICMA
Show in Milan for the second
year in a row (the 401 was re-
leased in prototype form at the
2014 show, along with the rug-
ged scrambler-style Svartpilen).
The arrival of the 125 opens up
the possibility of yet more varia-
tions of the model, even a 690
Duke-powered 701. CN
