FEATURE 2015 EICMA MOTORCYCLE SHOW P58 Motoring On… No new bikes for Victory in Milan, however the firm has announced the engine it developed for Project 156 will form the basis of a production motor. So no surprises there. It will power a 1200cc bike and considering Victory displayed it in a concept called Ignition that was designed by Swiss builder Urs Erbacher, you have to assume it will be a performance cruiser rather than a naked bike like Project 156. Shame. Build Your Own Bimota Surprisingly, Bimota is still going strong and for 2016 has built a café racer version of its Tesi 3D as well as putting the latest twin-spark Ducati Diavel engine in its Impeto naked bike. The firm also announced a supercharger kit that fits any liquid- cooled Ducati engined bike it makes, increasing the power and torque by 15-20 percent. Finally, the BB3 is now available in kit form so you can "build your own Bimota" according to the firm. You get a rolling chassis and you just need to source your own BMW engine and electronics. Which makes you wonder if BMW no longer wants to supply Bimota with them directly… Impeto nakedbike gets the Diavel engine. BIMOTA VICTORY Victory. You need to build this bike.
