FEATURE 2015 EICMA MOTORCYCLE SHOW P50 BMW More Scrambling, Please Only one new bike for BMW at Milan – but it is pretty cool. The R nineT Scrambler (is it pos- sible to have a model range devoid of the word scrambler nowadays?) builds on the R nineT's base to create what BMW call a "reckless ver- sion of the R nineT". Basically, it's an off-road style R nineT with a 19-inch front wheel, con- ventional forks, bench seat and very cool twin high-level pipes. Just like the R nineT there are loads of customization options and just like the R nineT when it was launched, expect it to be sold out by the time you read this… BMW's seen the scrambler bandwagon and jumped straight on. HONDA Come On Honda, Keep Up! What can you say about Honda's performance at Milan aside from dismal? No new models (the updates to the NC750 and CB500 range had already been announced) and only an adventure concept scooter to show. Adventure and scooter, two words that should never be in the same sentence. Here's hoping Honda comes back strong in 2017 with a new Fireblade… Honda fell flat on its face at EICMA with a scooter no one wants or needs.
