The Factory Option
Aprilia announced its "Factory
Works" program in Milan,
which is effectively providing
ready-to-go superbike and
superstock race bikes. Aprilia
claim the all-singing WSB spec
bike exceeds 230 bhp… As
for prices, Aprilia say the bikes
will be "attainable," which is
nice and vague. On the road
bike front the RSV4 RF gets
a shock update and V4-MP
(Aprilia's multimedia interface)
as standard.

Husky Is Back On The Road
The big news at Milan from Husky was the fact the firm confirmed
it will have two Vitpilen road bikes for sale in spring 2017. They
will be a 401 and 125 and will be followed up very quickly by a
road-going 701 model. As the firm is owned by KTM, you have to
assume the bikes will be using KTM's single cylinder engines with
small modifications to suit Husqvarna's character.
