IN THE WIND P36 KTM REVEALS 2016 ENDURO LINEUP T he KTM Factory Racing team has announced its extensive off-road lineup for 2016, including dedicated racers for the World Enduro, Extreme Enduro and SuperEnduro World Cham- pionships. In the fast-approaching SuperEnduro Series, the KTM factory race team will include an all-star lineup of Taddy Blazu- siak, Jonny Walker, Alfredo Gomez and American rider Taylor Robert. These same riders will also be contesting Extreme Enduro events such as Hell's Gate, The Tough One, Erzberg Rodeo and Romaniacs. The release also stated that Blazusiak plans to return to the States for the AMA EnduroCross Series in 2016. In the World Enduro Championship scene, the omnipresent factory squad will field Christophe Nambotin and fellow returning KTM rider Ivan Cer- vantes. Also adding to the roster is British moto- crosser Nathan Watson. Laia Sanz will once again lead the way in the women's category for KTM. Following the SuperEnduro Championship, Robert will also be contesting the Enduro World Championship in the newly formed GP class. CN WEBB, HAAKER, ROBERT TAKE ON SUPERENDURO T he close of the AMA Enduro- Cross Championship Series isn't bringing much of a break to many of its top riders. Newly crowned 2015 champion Cody Webb and his perennial op- ponent Colton Haaker are both heading overseas to compete in the FIM SuperEnduro Champi- onship. The duo will get another chance to go toe to toe in the series with riders Jonny Walker and six-time champion Taddy Blazusiak there to complicate things further. Several other U.S. riders will be joining them including RPM KTM's Ty Tremaine and factory USA KTM rider Taylor Robert. Tremaine took home the Super- Enduro Junior Championship last season, and was recently crowned the AMA EnduroCross Junior Champion, once again, but this year the 20-year old will be racing the Prestige class with the "big kids." The series kicks off on De- cember 5 in Poland, which will mark Webb's first race aboard the factory KTM (coming from the factory-support RPM KTM team), and Haaker's first race with his new factory Husqvarna. The AMA EnduroCross riders will also have to adapt to the different format of SuperEnduro, which includes a 3-race main event format, and bike specifica- tions that require a headlight, kickstand and spec tire.
