ATV/MC AMA Amateur Na-
tional Motocross Champion-
ship, presented by AMSOIL,
has announced the official
dates for the 2016 National.
The 2016 Rocky Moun-
tain ATV/MC AMA Amateur
National Motocross Championship will take
place on Monday, August 1 through Saturday,
August 6. This year marks the 42nd running of the
AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship,
and the 35th anniversary of the event being held
at the historic Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane
Mills, Tennessee.
In order to compete in the National, racers
must first participate in the national qualifying
program. Area Qualifiers serve as the first step in
qualifying for the world's most prestigious amateur
motocross race. There are over 50 Area Quali-
fiers in over eight geographical locations across
the United States, making it the largest amateur
motocross program in the world.
The Regional Championships then serve as the
next step to seed riders into the National program
at Loretta Lynn Ranch. Only riders who finish in
a qualifying position at a Regional Championship
are eligible for one of the 1,482 gates spots at the
National in August. The Area and Regional Quali-
fier dates are set to be released next month. CN
ALL-NEW TCX OFF-ROAD BOOT REVEALED

hotos have surfaced of an all-new premium
off-road boot from Italian company TCX. Two
versions of their new Comp Evo model featuring a
new Double Flex Control system—one with a vul-
canized Michelin sole and one with a traditional
stitched sole—will be replacing the brand's ag-
ing Pro 2.1 boot in their 2016 collection.
The new footwear promises superior protec-
tion and comfort, and a price point comparable
to premium offerings from Sidi and Alpinestars.
They will be offered in a multitude of colors,
and will likely be available in early 2016.
As already announced by TCX, their 2016
line will also offer two all-new mid-level off-road
boots as well, giving the company a full range
of footwear for dirt-going motorcyclists. CN
