creamin' Eagle Harley-Davidson's
Andrew Hines won his fifth NHRA
Mello Yello Series Pro Stock Motor-
cycle Championship and teammate Eddie
Krawiec finished the 2015 with a memo-
rable win at the Auto Club NHRA Finals in
Pomona.
Hines came into the event as the
points leader over White Alligator Suzuki's
Jerry Savoie and watched his points lead
dwindle to less than two rounds by race
day. Krawiec did his teammate a favor by
beating Savoie in the second round of
eliminations and then went on to win the
final round against Victory Gunner's Matt
Smith.
"I've been to eight finals in a row here in
Pomona so this track has treated me very
well," Krawiec said. "This is also the 75th
NHRA win for our Harley-Davidsons so that
is a big deal, too. Last year, I thought it was
pretty special when Drew and I finished 1-2
in the points and we came back and did it
again. Looking back on the season, I don't
know how you could say we had a bad
year. We won a lot of races."
Krawiec admittedly got lucky in the
