and fellow Australian Anthony
West rounded out the finishers.

So that was that: Lorenzo 330
come through and outpaced a
big midfield pack. Michele Pirro
was 12th; then Yonny Hernan-
dez; and then the remnants of
that pack—Alvaro Bautista, still
half a second clear of Scott Red-
ding, who had also cut through
in the closing stages for the final
point.
Hector Barbera had been his
last victim, still inches behind.
Nicky Hayden was a couple
of seconds down by the end,
fending off Stefan Bradl on the
second Aprilia.
