AMBASSADOR QUINN CODY
dation's go-to person on racing
safety.
In March 2015 Cody took on a
second role and was named by
the ASO as the North American
ambassador to the Dakar Rally.
With multiple years of experi-
ence in the toughest race in the
world, including a top-10 finish
in 2011 where he was named
Rookie Of The Year, Quinn is
now the official point man for any
North American rider looking to
compete in the Dakar Rally.
Between these two respon-
sibilities, day-to-day life has
changed quite a bit for Cody.
"Not in a million years did I
ever think I'd be doing some-
thing like this," Cody said. "It's
pretty crazy. It's different. I'm
learning new stuff every day and
I really enjoy it. I like it as a chal-
lenge."
The challenge comes in
adapting to two all-new positions
as they continue to take shape,
and also in exploring ways to
advance off-road safety while
also encouraging riders seeking
to attempt the most challenging
race in the world. Believe it or
not, those two efforts coincide
