1200X will no doubt see
plenty of miles, aimed at
the GS/KTM Adventure
rider who could do 500
miles before breakfast.
The 1200X will also come
with the option of Honda's
Dual Clutch Transmission
or the standard gearbox,
with Honda Selectable
Torque Control (a form of
traction control), ABS and
shaft drive. The VFR also
has a one-hand-adjustable
windscreen, handguards
and an accessory socket,
plus 43mm forks that are
preload, rebound and
compression adjustable.
The rear shock gets similar
full adjustment.
Honda hasn't released the
price yet but we won't be
seeing them on dealer floors
until May next year.
