Canard also had the fastest laptime
in two of the three main events and the
fastest laptime of the entire weekend,
First, there's Honda's Trey Canard.
Canard was the fastest qualifier dur-
ing the day, and then he just narrowly
missed getting the holeshot in the first
race. This is significant, as Canard was
a holeshot master in the 250cc class,
but has been struggling with his starts
pretty much ever since he moved up to
450s.
