OFF ROAD 90TH FIM INTERNATIONAL SIX DAYS ENDURO SEPTEMBER 7-12, 2015 KOSICE, SLOVAKIA P106 CLUB Team USA fielded its usual complement of six Club teams, each comprised of three riders. A Dutch team took control of this category midweek and claimed a five-minute winning margin over a Swedish trio with a team from the Czech Republic third, 5:29 farther back. The top U.S. team all week was the GoFasters.com three- some of Reid Brown, Nate Ferderer and Brian Garrahan, with Six Days veteran Garrahan (who recently turned 40) getting faster as the week progressed to lead the team to fourth place. In fact, Garrahan also ended up being the fastest U.S. Club rider, earning gold for his eighth in C2. Ferderer and Brown earned golds in C3, finishing fifth and sixth in that class. Next in line for Team USA was the Boise Ridge Riders (Kale Elworthy, Skyler Howes and A.J. Lehr) at 12th. Elworthy became a gold medalist for 12th in C2, Six Days sophomore Lehr finished on gold for seventh place in C3 while rookie Howes claimed silver after his 14th in C3. The Missouri Mudders were just behind at 13th. Mike Pillar put in a solid week for 19th in C1 and a gold medal; Kyle McDonal was just off the C3 podium in fourth place that got him a gold; and Ryan Kudla made amends for his practice track crash and broken shoulder to finish 12th in C3 for a silver. Senior riders Jayson Densley, Fred Hoess and Brian Storrie comprised the Elizabeth Scott team that finished 15th. Hoess has reportedly ended his Six Days career on a high note, his 19th gold courtesy of 10th in C1. Densley and Storrie both rode C3 and finished with silver medals, Densley 17th and Storrie 20th. The all-C1 Eric Cleveland team ran into a few problems on its way to 22nd, but Dillon Shepard rode to 27th for gold after twisting an ankle. Geoffrey Sanders and Jubal Brown finished on silver, Sanders 41st and Brown 42nd just seven seconds apart. Finally, the all-New England Tony Agonis trio comprised of Trail Jesters Ben Kelley, John Kelley and Josh Toth finished 29th out of the 96 Club teams. Ben Kelley showed good speed en route to gold for 13th in C2 with John ninth in C3, also tak- ing home a gold medal. Toth had an issue on the first day and had to take a DNF but was able to re- impound to finish the week. The youngest rider on the U.S. team then showed what he was truly capable of, eventually winning one test, turning in the fastest score among American Club riders on day five and winning the first C1 moto of day six. Be- ing a "re-impound rider," he was ineligible for a medal. CN The Australians dominated the Women's World Trophy division.
