breakthrough podium getting
second on the RoadRace Fac-
tory Yamaha R6, the 20-year-
old South African showed his
rain-riding prowess to hold off
Yamalube/Y.E.S./Graves Mo-
torsports' JD Beach, the newly

battled in the much drier race
two, with Gerloff one-upping his
teammate to take the last spot
on the podium.
