t was, you might say, just what The
Doctor ordered. In this case, a
Sunday afternoon's brisk exercise
in bracing wet weather out in the
English countryside. Good for the
constitution for a man approaching
his late thirties.
Especially when that man's near-
est rivals can't keep up.
Sunday's British Grand Prix—de-
layed and disrupted as two days of
fine weather turned foul on 75,000
fans on race day—was the perfect
tonic, as fast and steadfast Valentino
Rossi rode an unfaltering 20 laps of
Silverstone to claim his fourth win of
the season.
It may be one less than Movistar
Yamaha teammate Jorge Lorenzo,
but it was enough to regain the
championship lead that the ever-
green 36-year-old multi-champion
