T he TKO is similar to the "Last Man Stand-
ing" race of many years ago where there are
several races throughout the day (in the case
of the TKO there are four races total), and the
original pro entries gets weeded out with each
race until only the 15 fastest riders make it into
the main event.
After superb performances in the day's ear-
lier races, Walker, Robert and Webb got out
to the early lead pack in the final, in that order.
Robert bobbled early in the race and dropped
back to sixth, allowing Webb to take control of
second spot behind Walker. And while Walker
had gained a quick gap on Webb and Robert,
Webb was able to reel in the runaway Brit and
battle back and forth with him until taking the
lead for good on lap four of the race.
From there, Walker seemed to slow while
Webb poured it on and pulled away to a full
minute gap on his fellow KTM rider with three
laps remaining in the race.
Meanwhile, Robert was starting to put pres-
