Honda, until the Englishman
put the seal on a disappointing
weekend by crashing on lap
15.
This left a big gap to the
elder Espargaro, Aleix on the
second of the Ecstar Su-
zukis, who had never been
near his teammate, and had
a lot of trouble getting free
from Pramac Ducati's Danilo
Petrucci, the pair completing
the top 10.

Petrucci's teammate Yonny
Hernandez narrowly prevailed
in a race-long battle with the
Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS
Honda of Scott Redding.
There was a lively battle
for the last points, eventually
won by Alvaro Bautista, who
had hunted down new Aprilia
teammate Stefan Bradl to lead
him over the line by just over

outpaced the rest, and so too
had Loris Baz on his Forward
Yamaha, the rookie's first time
as top Open finisher, leaving
Hector Barbera's Avintia Ducati
and erstwhile group leader
Nicky Hayden on the Aspar
Honda out of luck in his wake.
"It was a tough race at the
end of a tough weekend," said
Hayden after another frustrating
pointless race. "I'd say I made
my best start and best first lap
of the season, making up five
positions, and my fastest lap
Iannone (29) holds the advantage,
but a wounded Pedrosa (26) is on
the charge.
