Morgen Mischler (Hon) – means that Mees now has an impressive 29-point lead in the series standings (156-127 over Smith, with Wiles third with 124). That's over a full race-worth of points on his nearest rival. While it's far from over, it's looking more and more like Mees will defend his No. 1 plate this year. The series next moves to Charlotte, North Carolina and the Don Tilley Memorial Char- lotte Half-Mile at Charlotte Motor Speedway on August 29. CN Peoria TT Results 1. Henry Wiles (Hon) 2. Jared Mees (Hon) 3. Dominic Colindres (Yam) pace with the two leaders in the national (he was 14.9 seconds back to Wiles), but the youngster turned a lot of heads with his strong performance in Peoria on the Babe DeMay/Memphis Shades Yamaha. While Mees didn't get the win he was hoping for, his title chances are looking ever bright- er. His second, combined with tough outings for rivals Bryan Smith and Sammy Halbert – who finished 11 th and 9 th respectively Wiles (center) and Mees (left) were familiar faces on the podium, but it was a first time taste of the champagne for Dominic Colindres.
